Public transport in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County
Integrated passenger transport is a new system of local public passenger transport in which all public transport modes (trains, buses, trams, ships. etc.) are integrated into a common system of passenger transport in a particular region. In integrated passenger transport a single common ticketing system is applied on all public transport lines throughout the region. A system for integrated public transport in PGŽ was created and put into operation by HŽ Passenger Transport and Autotrolej in 2018. The system combines city bus and train transport. Trains transport passengers from Šapjane in the west, to Fužine in the east, with passengers using a unique monthly subscription card for transport.
One ticket
Two rides
The joint monthly ticket of HZPP - KD Autotrolej is valid from September 1, 2018, and the joint ticket enables transport within 4 HŽPP zones by train (40km further from Rijeka) and the first bus zone (the city of Rijeka) for Autotrolej buses. In addition to the monthly ticket, single ride tickets are also available for both train and bus rides. More information here:
